Lets talk hydration!

Drinking water has its benefits and we all know that. But with this hot weather we can drink plenty of water and still have our skin feeling dry and there are ways we can fix this. So I'm gonna show you how to keep your skin hydrated on your face with products found in drug stores on the high street.

After a long hot day I like to take my makeup off with the Neutrogena Hydro Boost Water Gel Cleanser. This is like a godsend! Honestly! I have quite sensitive skin, but this cleanser is based mainly from water and has barely any chemicals in there. It's also noncomedogenic so it has no oils, dyes, or fragrances.

You literally need to pump just once (so it does last a very long time) and just simply massage it onto your face. and wash the gel straight off. So simple!

I always use mine whilst I'm in the shower on an evening so it's really easy to wash off. But if you like to do it at the sink, it's still the same, maybe just use a face sponge or cloth, or even your hands to wipe the excess product off.

Then you'll see your face is left soft, plump and sooooooo clean and fresh! It also leaves a nice little glow and your skin will feel so hydrated and refreshed. So I don't use any other cleanser, this is my one and only go to, and it's around £7.99 in any drugstore or supermarket.

Once a week I also like to use face masks, and sometimes I turn to these when my skin feels bit dry - Garnier Skin Active Moisture Bomb Tissue Masks. You get a white mask covered in a water based gel, enriched with pomegranate extract, hyaluronic acid, and plant serum

You take the mask out and unfold it carefully, then remove the protective film, and place it on your face so it covers you everywhere, Then you leave it on for 15 minutes, take it off and massage in any further excess product.

You'll find that your face feels so hydrated after using this and it brightens your skin tone. It's like a nice quick pamper session if you have a busy lifestyle but still need to fit in bit of self care/me time.

It's a really nice product to use, because again you feel intensely hydrated and refreshed. It also has been proven to reduce the look of fine lines, and revives radiance on your skin.

This can be bought from any drug store, supermarket or high street and is £2.99 a mask.

And there you have it, my two favourite hydrating products that actually do hydrate like they're supposed to.
