Jumbo crayon lipstick benefits
So I'm sure we've all used the thick crayon lipsticks before, or at least have one in our makeup bag that we used as a tester, but kind of left it in there because it wasn't the same as a real lipstick?
Well did you know that there are so many uses for these, especially if you're travelling or going on holidays and need to pack lightly? Let me tell you how...

I had one of these Nars velvet matte lip pencils in Cruella, and whilst the colour was beautiful, it still didn't have enough coverage as a lipstick would. So when I'm on holiday I'll take this with me as there are multiple uses:
1. If I'm lounging by the pool and I'm not wearing any makeup I like a bold lip, so this pencil is perfect for that little pop of colour whilst you have your shades on - so you could use it as your supposed to.
2. Any red or pink crayons you have can be used as a blusher. The texture of these pencils are so creamy, that if you marked a few dots around your cheeks you could blend the product with a blusher brush or your finger tips adding that warmth on your cheeks.
3. If you had any brown crayons, you could apply the same method as above by drawing lines or dots and using it to contour your nose, cheeks, chin or forehead with a blending brush.
4. For a bolder lip, you could apply the pencil as a lip liner as a base and then add your lipstick/liquid lipstick or gloss on top to make your lips really stand out.
5. Red or pink pencils can also be used as a colour corrector under the eyes or in any area that needs to be corrected on your face, because it will tone down your foundation. Lets face it, when you're on holiday you're going to be tanned and at some point your foundation will be too light for you, so why not use this as a beauty hack to correct your skin colour which will avoid giving you the ashy look!
6. You can also use this pencil to add some colour to your eyes, maybe as an eyeliner or a blended shadow, so why carry a huge eye shadow pallet when this can just pop into your makeup bag!

And there you have it, six ways to use a crayon which will help you to travel more lightly and save money on buying multiple products.
There are so many varieties of these crayons out there. The Nars collection comes in at £22, whilst Morphe have theirs for £10, so the prices are varied. Shop around for whatever is in your budget, but remember they all do the same jobs!
